Title pretty much says it. If you’ve seen the movie Deuce Bigalow Male Gigolow or seen Captain Awesome working out in Chuck, it’s exactly that. I want to strap my ankles to the pull up bar and hang upside down for some serious sit ups. Anyone know where I can buy those or even what they’re called? Thanks.
Bodyweight: 190 lb (86.4 kg) Weighted Added: 115 lb (52.3 kg) Total: 305 lb (138.6 kg)
www.twitter.com Using the bar is definitely the most effective way of getting strong abs and a good core!! Some of these exercises are variations of movements from part 2. Cheers
My mom absolutely will not allow me to install a pull up bar on the walls of my house, is there anyway I can use a pull up bar without installing through walls?
I do pull-ups on my door by putting a cloth over the top of my door and pulling myself up until my chin is above the top of the door. I can do around 10 pull-ups (all the way up and all the way down) before I get tired. I was just wandering what muscles this exercise would work out.
Thanks in advance guys.
P.S I don’t use one of those pull-up bars that attach to the door. I just use the door itself.
Train with me at myhitechtrainer.com Hey everyone, Pro Drug Free/Elite RAW Power Lifer Tuan here with another video. His is another variation on the Pull Up and Chin Up. Pull-ups & Chin-ups force you to lift your own body-weight. They are the best strength training exercises you can do for upper-body strength & muscle mass. Unfortunately Pull-ups & Chin-ups are hard. Very hard. If you’re a beginner, chances are you can’t do 1 Pull-up or Chin-up. This article will not only teach you how to do Pull-ups & Chin-ups with proper technique, but also how to get stronger at them so you can do the weighted versions. What are Pull-ups & Chin-ups? Hang on a pull-up bar with straight arms & pull yourself up until your chin passes the bar. The difference between Pull-ups & Chin-ups is in the grip: Pull-ups. Palms facing away. Less biceps, more back. Harder. Chin-ups. Palms facing you. Work your biceps more. Easier.
Pullup workout for the complete beginner who cant even do a single pullup. So many of us were needlessly traumatized in PE class because we couldnt do a single pullup. How stupid! PE classes are the precise place where they should be helping kids to get strong enough so they can do their first pullup. Teach rather than embarrass! Not rocket science. I’ll teach you how to do a pullup since your PE classes wont!!! Pullups are one of the most important bodybuilding exercises you can do and this video shows you how to do them at home even if you have no place to do them. Pullups are the exercise that give your back that cobra like flare and they work your biceps too. This is part of my continuing beginners bodybuilding series. www.scoobysworkshop.comNutrition is key to being able to add muscle! I cover nutrition on my website, if thats not detailed enough for you I have reviewed and recommended some excellent books scoobysworkshop.com You can ask me questions on my facebook page: www.facebook.com For more information on home workouts, please see my free website (no advertising either): www.google.com
I know this is on a gymnastics bar and some of you might say it has bounce. I just did this video for a demonstration and I’m sure I can do all these on a normal bar. Im not an expert on muscle ups, and I dont train them much. Here are the different muscle ups I could think of. Tutorial coming soon!
What do you do as an alternative to buying a pull-up bar when you're 6'5" and live in a mobile home?
I’m 6’5" (196cm) and live in a mobile home. I’ve started a workout program that calls for a pull-up bar but I’m not quite sure that’ll work without bashing my head off the ceiling with every pull-up. Any alternatives?
