If it starts off as once a week or something, does this change as the workouts progress?
I can’t install those screw-in pull up bars where I live, and I’m too scared to use the ones that don’t screw in because I feel they’re unsafe. Would it be unwise to just skip pull-up-bar related exercises altogether?
I’m not sure if I should buy a pull up bar that mounts itself on your door way, the main reason is that my door way is made out of steel, So I was wondering if I can install it into my hall way. Would this totally mutilate my walls in my hall way?
it mounts itself using screws
the bar supports up to 240 pounds
I weigh some where close to half of that

I bought the iron gym pull up bar …. I set it up in the bathroom door, hoping no one would see the clip that goes into the door frame and just remove the bar when I was done working out.
Unfortunately, my dad, not knowing what it was, threw out my clip… so now I can do any pull ups! Can anyone post a link on where I can buy the single metal peice that is the main key that will the bar in place in the door?
Right now, I can do about 20 push ups if I try really hard and one dead hand pull up. I need to be about to do 11 dead-hang pull ups (no time limit) and roughly 60 push ups (or more) in about two minutes. I have about 7 or so months. Is it possible?
One minute of less for what?
All the answers are great. I’ll let the voters choose the best answer. Thanks again.
I have a little over two months to prepare for the Candidate Fitness Assessment for the Naval Academy. And I want to make sure I am ready. I can currently do about 10 pull ups, 50 sit ups, 40 push ups, and run a mile in 10 minutes. How can I improve these scores?
So, I’ve seen guys do curl ups while hanging upside down from a pull-up bar. I understand how this would work your abs more because of the full range of motion. However, when I have tried to put this exercise into practice, I always end up swinging too much and can’t stabilize myself. Any suggestions on what to do?
