I’m not sure I will try that as well:) Thanks so much for watching my videos.
i like it but the $280 price tag that is a bit discouraging. I will eventually buy one instead of the cheaper more awkward power tower
can you safely hook the gravity boots into this bar?
Costaricanmohican, I would say yes because of its stability and also because it holds 350 pounds..however, you should check with the nice guy who makes these bars as I have not actually done that. You can contact him through his website. Also, you mentioned the cost…you will have this bar for 50 years no joke…:)
i love your arm muscles!
Quick & handy
Dear CWest,
Appreciate the videos. Had a question about the trapeze rigging pull up bar you use: Can it be used with a TRX system/ suspension system? I weigh 170 and would be using non-jerky movements. I want to be able to use gymnastic rings as well and am willing to use sandbags to stabilize the base of the pull up bar.
Thanks in advance for your comment.
Thanks for watching:) My hands down response is yes and yes, I have had the bar recently at a charity event where there were multiple people on it and one guy who was about 240..The bar holds up to 350 pounds. I am positive it would be amenable to both the TRX as well as the rings. However, since I have not used the TRX on my bar, if you want to talk to Trevor the owner give him a call or e-mail. Tell him I sent you:) The bar is fantastic…I use it all the time:) Cheers:)
crystal you are a very beauiful and strong women do you think it is better to do regular pullups or kipping pullup thanks
crystal you are a very beauiful and strong women do you think it is better to do regular pullups or kipping pullup thanks
@1414hayward Thank you for the nice comment. I really prefer regular pull-ups for over-all back and strength development:)
beauiful i have another question for you is it ok to do pullups everyday to get your reps up or it it better every other day i do 3 sets of ten right now i would like to get my numbers up and i just orderd the trapeze pullup bar thanks for the advice
Where can I get this bar?
@versaflex Order it from trapezerigging (dotcom) or go to my website crystalwestfitness (dotcom) and click on the link on the crystallikes page:) I love my bar and use it a lot. Tell Trevor the owner I sent you:)
@1414hayward You are going to love the bar..nice job:) I definitely recommend every other day. You would probably have the strength for every day but in my opinion you should let the tendons and ligaments rest for a day in between. That is what I did and I was able to increase my reps gradually BUT DRAMATICALLY over time:)
@cwestfitness Hey,thanx a lot (“,)
Crystal, are you single?
i wish i could do pull ups :[
What is the height of that bar?
@miketysoncantpunch •Weighs 22 lbs and can take a 350 lb load.
Comes in 7 small pieces which can be re-assembled in 1 minute – no tools required!
It’s 7 feet tall, and 42 inches wide.
Made out of polished aluminum.
The 1″ thick top bar has 3 heights: 84″, 80″, 76″.
can you do kipping pullups without it tipping over
@nikkyo34 Yes, i have used the bar at multiple charity events where virtually everyone kips..adults over 200 pounds and kids in grade schoold and high school. The bar has that movement an inch or two you see in the video but is solid as a rock and will not tip over.
Can you please tell me if you’ve used this bar on carpet, and if so, was it just as stable? Thanks
@greenbunny13 Yes I have and it is extremely stable.. I love mine and use it a lot both for my own training and also for charity events and demos:) Cheers
Thank you very much for the answer. I can’t wait to get mine.
