My mom noticed my pull up bar is ruining the door frame and I can’t use it anymore. I wanted this at-home pull up bar so I can practice without the embarressment at failing at the gym.

If I do a lot of push ups, can I be able to gain enough strength for pull ups?

Hey guys, how long should I wait after having lunch to resume with my pull ups?I usually keep a 2 hr gap after meals but what is the suggested time like and can I do it after say 45 minutes?

Do they do proper military pull ups or just chin ups?

Apparently they have to do 10 before they can enter the dinnerhall.

hi i was wondering if i really want to increase the number of pull ups and chin ups i could do as fast as possible over the next two months. what is the key to getting good at them? and how soon will see results in my muscles and performance when doing them?

Why are pull ups and push ups used as strength tests instead of the common, dead lift, squat, and bench press? Why did the military decide that pull ups and push ups are better?

Getting a pull up bar is not a problem for me. The problem is that my door frames are non-existent, so I have no where to put it.

I want to make my arms and chest bigger. I just got a pull up bar and a resistance band. How many days per week should I do pull ups? How many pulls ups / chin ups should I do each of those days?
By how many a day, I mean literally how many. So "two times a day," as someone said means two different times in the day. But how many pull ups / chin ups in those periods? Obviously I want to do more then 2 pull ups a day lol.

what would be the standard that is set for a male to do as far as pull-ups? When i was doing infantry training, i maxed out at 26 chin-ups, and averaged a basic 20 chin-ups. For men of all ages.
